CAFFÈ RIVER
Established 1958, Caffè River has an advanced vision in the future of coffee. It considers itself as not being a simple coffee roaster, but the promoter of a unique solution made of innovative products and services, for the espresso coffee. Caffè River main headquarters are in Arezzo (Italy) with two sister companies in Copenhagen (Denmark) and Cluj (Romania).
Caffè River's interests and achievements include:
- Caffè River Training Centre. An innovative coffee training centre with a special approach to the education, partly borrowed from science parks as the Deutsches Museum in Munich, the Technische Museum in Wien and the Experimentarium in Copenhagen.
- CaffeinAula. A coffee training partnership with professional schools in the central Italy to help their professionality in the field of coffee.
- Solar Farm. The attention to the environment is part of Caffè River mission. The construction of a solar farm on the Italian headquarters' roof permitted a huge reduction of our environmental impact through the a reduction in emissions of 31.2 tons of CO2 and 69,4 Kg of Nox per year. In addition, the needed additional power is bought from companies that produce power using renewable sources.
- Jamao coffee. A project of development and cooperation with the NGO Ucodep that created the Jamao coffee.
- Riverberazioni. A workshop with 12 well known designer to create for Caffè River new coffee objects.
